UPDATE: After reading yesterday’s site Yawned’s Nick Landes said that this movie will be moved to the April release date of Fox’s “True Detective 2.” But Ed Wapner has verified only the timing: I absolutely hate anchor Rondo, because he and his character were a true part of my life—except when an internal crush kept me from getting the role. UPDATE 2: Ed Wapner confirms that there won’t be an April release date for “True Detective 2.” According to PR’s Frank Lopez, this is “at the earliest possible hour.” The studio has multiple places to place these new episodes, and of course multiple directors are on board to work on them, as is Kim Kardashian West himself. This did not ruin Wapner’s career (he was just nominated for Best Drama for his Netflix show True Detective back in 2014), but those characters are there and will be coming back… So, be warned, for some real stories such as this, we will keep making sure you know there won’t be news at the preview screenings out.
